Bella Hadid has officially touched down in the South of France for the annual Cannes Film Festival \u2013 and she’s been spotted with a whole new look.<\/p>\n

The supermodel and Chopard ambassador was spotted out on the croisette outside Hotel Martinez wearing an all-white ensemble paired with a structured Saint Laurent Manhattan bag in a tan shade and vintage Saint Laurent pumps, but it was her new hair which really<\/em> has us talking.<\/p>\n

Hadid stepped out rocking a casual up-do hairstyle in a new honey shade of blonde, stepping away from her usual brunette locks.<\/p>\n

It’s not the first time the 28-year-old has been seen with lighter tresses. The Palestinian-Dutch supermodel previously opted for lighter locks in 2019, then again at the end of 2022, going into 2023<\/a> which, at the time, she declared \u201cfeeling a little better & a little blonder\u201d. Perhaps she’s channelling the same energy for this year’s Cannes Film Festival red carpet?<\/p>\n

Hadid’s touchdown on the French Riviera comes just hours after the film festival’s organisers announced some last-minute changes to the red carpet dress code.<\/p>\n

Per an updated Cannes Film Festival\u00a0charter<\/a>, any form of nudity is now officially banned on the red carpet. The charter states that \u201cfor decency reasons, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival\u201d, and those who are seen breaching the new guidelines will be prohibited from walking the red carpet.<\/p>\n

A representative for the Cannes Film Festival clarified to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> that the updates to the charter reflect \u201crules [that] have long been in effect\u201d informally which, in turn, aim to \u201cprohibit full nudity on the carpet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year in Cannes, Hadid stepped out on the red carpet wearing a sheer dress freshly plucked from Saint Laurent\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2024 runway<\/a>, as designed by Anthony Vaccarello. She accessorised with a pair of yellow diamond earrings and four white gold rings, all from\u00a0Chopard<\/a>\u2018s \u2018Haute Joaillerie\u2019 collection.<\/p>\n
