Next week, Dubai’s art scene will unfold again for the Art Dubai 2025 exhibition, and this time, it will be home to a slew of iconic women.<\/p>\n

Slated for April 16 to 20, 2025, Art Dubai’s 18th edition will be shedding light on regional, homegrown, and international artworks spanning an array of mediums and sections, such as Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba and Digital.<\/p>\n

Art Dubai will take place at the iconic Madinat Jumeirah and will feature several women-led galleries from the Middle East and beyond.<\/p>\n

Below, GRAZIA rounds up the art galleries you can visit during the art fair.<\/p>\n

Aisha Allabar gallery<\/h3>\n
<\/blockquote>\n

Founded in 2018 by Emirati gallerist Aisha Alabbar, this Dubai-based gallery is one of the first Emirati-led spaces in the city where artworks from local and regional artists are highlighted. At the gallery, guests can expect a list of emerging and established artists specialising in contemporary art.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Amrani gallery<\/h3>\n

A veteran returnee to Art Dubai, Sabrina Armani founded her gallery in Marid, Spain, and was raised in various cultures, which brought her to where she is today. A French woman with Algerian roots, her art gallery showcases a common ground for artists who are strongly committed to culture and artistic growth. She particularly works with new voices in the contemporary art space from the Global South to share with the world.<\/p>\n

Tabari ArtSpace<\/h3>\n
<\/blockquote>\n

Tabari ArtSpace is where Maliha Tabari, a Palestinian collector, aims to connect the MENA region’s contemporary artists to the global world. An artist who has developed a sense for bridging culture and identities, she founded Tabari Art Space, which champions female artists from the region. The gallery has worked with the likes of Emirati painter and multi-disciplinary artist, Hashel Al Lamki, Saudi painter and 3D artist Nasser Almulhim, and others.<\/p>\n

Nika Project Space<\/h3>\n
<\/blockquote>\n

A homegrown gallery from the UAE founded by gallerist Veronika Berezina in 2023 serves as a platform for female artists and curators who delve into deep art discourse and artistic experimentation. Her gallery focuses on spotlighitng practitioners (whether new or veteran) from the Global South.<\/p>\n

The Third Line<\/h3>\n
<\/blockquote>\n

Sunny Rahbar, co-founder of The Third Line based in Dubai, has been championing regional and local contemporary artists for over two decades. With the diaspora in mind, The Third Line is a platform for distinct art styles from rising and acclaimed artists such as Abbas Akhavan, Hayv Kahraman, Farah Al Qasimi and Shirin Aliabadi.<\/p>\n

Green Art Gallery<\/h3>\n

An iconic gallery of sorts, Green Art Gallery was founded by sisters Mayla and Mona Atassi over thirty years ago in Dubai. What started in Syria and moved to Dubai, Green Art Gallery has been a space that features multi-generational artists from the Middle East and beyond. Yasmin Atassi, the daughter of Mayla, isc currently the director of the Gallery.<\/p>\n
