It’s clear that Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi<\/a> of Sharjah understands the power of a perfectly tailored fashion moment.<\/p>\n

Being a trailblazing individual who spearheads the culture scene in the Middle East, the sheikha, who is known for her unyielding fervour in the literary space, just stunned in a perfectly poised Maison Valentino moment channeling creative director Alessandro Michele’s new vision for the fashion house.<\/p>\n

A day after a record-breaking achievement in the literary world, where she took home a historic award for being the first GCC-based and Emirati woman to receive the BolognaRagazzi Award for Fiction, she marked the occasion in a stunning suit by the heritage Italian fashion house from its SS25 collection. Naturally an occasion to be celebrated, she participated in a panel discussion with fellow winners talking about the power of storytelling.<\/p>\n

Fresh off the runway, the sheikha wore a noir blazer<\/a> with contrasting polka dots and a vibrant pink duchesse bow. She layered underneath with a retro-styled cream top<\/a> in silky fabric with ruffle detailing.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first (nor the last) time the UAE royal has opted to wear the Italian fashion house. To mark the special event in Italy where she received the award, she was seen wearing a distinctively Valentino fucshia draped dress<\/a> with a cascading cape.<\/p>\n

Who is Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi?<\/h2>\n

Born in Sharjah, UAE, Sheikha Bodour is the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.<\/p>\n

She is known for being the first Arab woman to be appointed President of the\u00a0International Publishers Association (IPA)<\/a> and even earning a role as Chairperson of the\u00a0Sharjah Investment and Development Authority<\/a> (Shurooq).<\/p>\n

With her commitment to literacy, HE Sheikha Bodour founded the\u00a0Kalimat Group<\/a> in 2007, which initially released children\u2019s books but has now expanded into an award-winning global publishing house.<\/p>\n

She is also the Chairperson and President of the\u00a0American University of Sharjah<\/a>, where she cultivated programmes and expressed her earnest dedication for shaping the
