Mabrook! Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan<\/a>\u00a0and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis<\/a> are officially parents.<\/p>\n

The joyous news was confirmed by Queen Rania via her official Instagram page.<\/p>\n

The royal couple have welcomed a baby girl named Amina.<\/p>\n

Her Royal Highness gave birth to the baby on February 16, 2025, at Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Hospital in Aqaba, Jordan.<\/p>\n

“My darling Iman is now a mother,” Queen Rania wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of her newborn granddaughter. “We\u2019re grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, our family\u2019s newest blessing. Congratulations Jameel and Iman \u2013 may God bless you and your precious little girl.”<\/p>\n

Princess Iman’s pregnancy<\/h2>\n

Princess Iman’s pregnancy was only recently announced by Queen Rania<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Her Majesty shared a photo of the couple at sunset where the silhouettes of Jameel and Princess Iman are seen, along with the royal\u2019s growing baby bump.<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo is a couple, three is a blessing,\u201d Queen Rania captioned the photograph.<\/p>\n

The news of the couple\u2019s first child comes nearly two years after Princess Iman and Thermiotis tied the knot.<\/p>\n

The royal wedding ceremony took place back in 2023 on March 12, where the pair wed in Amman, Jordan at the Beit Al Urdun Palace.<\/p>\n

The bride wore a custom Dior gown and tiara from Chaumet, and walked down the aisle accompanied by her\u00a0brother and the future of King of Jordan<\/a>. The wedding was live broadcasted across state television and every member of the royal family showed a rare appearance. In the official signing of the documents, known as the katb elktab, the princess and bride sat between her father, His Majesty\u00a0King Abdullah<\/a>, as well as her husband, Jameel Thermiotis, as they signed the documents and were named as husband and wife.<\/p>\n

Several noteworthy guests were in attendance, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, as well as Sheikh Issa, son of Bahrain\u2019s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad, as well as other royal family members from Egypt and Kuwait.<\/p>\n

Jameel Alexander Thermiotis was born in Caracas, Venezuela, to Alexandros Thermiotis and Corina Hern\u00e1ndez in April 1994. He\u2019s the eldest of three siblings; he has one sister, Alexia, and a brother, Alejandros. He comes from a prominent Greek family that maintains a strong connection to their heritage with frequent trips to the Greek island of Andros.<\/p>\n

Princess Iman\u2019s husband attended private school while growing up in Venezuela and attended college in the United States. Thermiotis graduated in 2015 with a specialisation in Business Administration and Business from Florida International University, which set him up for his future career in finance. He spearheaded a venture capital firm called Outbound Ventures LLC after graduation and went on to become a managing partner at a New York City venture capital firm.<\/p>\n

The couple are thought to have met in the USA, where Princess Iman also attended university.
