Kendall Jenner and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a> may sit on opposite ends of the style spectrum\u2014she, a loyal devotee to The Row<\/a>‘s tailored minimalism; he, the prince of ironic cool meets low-key streetwear\u2014but this week, their worlds collided. Though they’re practically family, given his romantic ties to her sister, Kylie Jenner<\/a>, the actor and model rarely cross paths publicly. But as Jenner made her way around Greenwich Village during New York Fashion Week<\/a>, her outfit felt deeply reminiscent of the beatnik-infused wardrobe of Chalamet\u2019s latest on-screen persona: Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

With a caramel suede button-up jacket cinching her waist and black straight-leg jeans grazing her ankles, Jenner appeared to have stepped right out of a sepia-toned snapshot of 1960s New York. The look was completed with black leather loafers from The Row, a black tweed paperboy cap that could easily have been plucked from the film’s wardrobe department, and a dark-brown leather messenger bag slung over her shoulder\u2014also from The Row.<\/p>\n

To finish, she wrapped herself in a slouchy olive-green scarf draped nonchalantly around her shoulders. The result? A look resembling Chalamet’s portrayal of a young Dylan\u00a0meandering through the same NYC streets, guitar case in hand, and masterpieces brewing in his mind.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar<\/em><\/a>, the film\u2019s costume designer, Arianne Phillips, spoke about the significance of Dylan\u2019s style evolution during his early career.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis period was such an important time for fashion and self-expression,” she told the publication. “Dylan was a young artist finding his voice and refusing to be confined to any one thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

As ‘Boho 2.0’ begins to dominate the trend cycle, perhaps the model is looking to get in on the action with her own retro
