After 15 months of conflict and war, a ceasefire will officially take effect, marking a moment of relief and hope for the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

With over 47,000 casualties reported, the announcement and deal, which was mediated by Qatar and USA, has sparked worldwide reactions of celebrations and reflections.<\/p>\n

Hollywood A-listers, supermodels and regional stars have taken the opportunity to share about the ceasefire and send prayers to the state of Palestine. While also celebrating the development and the urging the need for support.<\/p>\n

Model and activist Alana Hadid in particular shared her thoughts in her Instagram stories stating: “Ceasefire today! [This] means Gaza can celebrate, but we must keep working.” She reminded her followers to never back down in support. She continued her powerful message and said, “Liberation is the goal, and we can’t stop until we achieve it.”<\/p>\n

Sharing the story of the ceasefire with her 8.1 million followers, Dubai-based entrepreneur and influencer Karen Wazen, also took to Instagram to reflect on the announcement. “Thinking of everyone who lost a friend, a family member, and a loved one,” she began. She extended her prayers to Gaza and said, “May you finally have the chance to mourn in peace.”<\/p>\n

With everyone celebrating the ceasefire, whether online or offline, many celebrities are using their platforms to encourage advocacy, spread awareness and continue aiding the people of Palestine.<\/p>\n
