Since the early 20th Century, Saint Tropez has been an alcove for creatives, artists and bohemians alike. So, when Amal Clooney<\/a> arrived in the balmy seaside city on the C\u00f4te d’Azur, it was only fitting she eschewed her tailored pant suits<\/a> for something a little more free-spirited<\/a>. The barrister cut a breezy figure that demanded a closer inspection\u2014and recreation as we begin to dress for rising temperatures\u2014as she was pictured walking along the French Riviera. Embracing the sartorial history of the region\u2014Brigitte Bardot\u2019s on-screen ensembles from 1956\u2019s And God Created Woman<\/em>! Bianca Jagger\u2019s Yves Saint Laurent wedding skirt suit<\/a> from 1971!\u2014Clooney looked the part in a silhouette concocted from lace, denim, leather and netting. These romantic fundamentals served as the foundation of her attire, with Clooney dialling into the codes of the boho chic movement in a Daisy Duke cut-offs and a slouchy t-shirt.<\/p>\n

Given the aesthetic’s timeless nature, these pieces could have easily been equally dated to the 1960s or 2000s purchased at whim at one of the area\u2019s many vintage boutiques. But Clooney is nothing if not tapped into fashion\u2019s pulse, with the human rights lawyer effortlessly toting this season\u2019s most covetable accessory in the crook of her elbow: Chlo\u00e9\u2019s Bracelet Bag.<\/p>\n

More specifically, the small hobo bag in a latte-hued grained leather was first revealed on the Fall\/Winter 2024 runway<\/a>, Chemena Kamali\u2019s first collection as creative director of the house. Though that capstone offering would\u2019ve easily provided Clooney with a full look in the tiered ruffle dress and caped outerwear presented during the season, the 46-year-old paired things back with towering clog-style slip-ons from Stella McCartney<\/a>. The heeled sandal features a knotted casing crafted from recycled rope and a suede base, which the brand describes as a \u201cpair of sun-worshipping vegan mules\u201d.
