Awards season has officially begun, and while the spotlight usually falls on Hollywood during this time, Manhattan has piqued our interest for one exclusive evening of fashion for the annual CFDA Awards. Indeed, live from New York it\u2019s the second-biggest style night out on the East Coast, with the Council Of Fashion Designers of America f\u00eateing emerging talents and distinguished sartorial luminaries grown on home soil. Thrown at the American Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side, guests including Katie Holmes<\/a> and Paloma Elsesser hit the step and repeat before making their way through the world\u2019s tallest freestanding dinosaur mount for a celebratory dinner. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ella Emhoff<\/a> took a brief hiatus from the campaign trail in a marble knit set from Coach<\/a> while Addison Rae paid homage to her new single \u201cAquamarine\u201d<\/a> in a mermaid-esque plaid sequin skirt and peplum bustier from Thom Browne<\/a>. Elsewhere, Kylie Jenner cemented her relationship with her boyfriend Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet\u2019s<\/a> favourite designer Haider Ackermann<\/a> in a look he designed for Jean Paul Gaultier\u2019s Spring 2023 Haute Couture collection<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

If the 2024 Academy Museum Gala<\/a> was the red carpet warm-up, consider this the amuse-bouche before we return after the Christmas break for the Golden Globes, Critics Choice, BAFTAs and Oscars alike. Hollywood might be calling, but we\u2019ll always remember this once upon a time in New York\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
