There’s a lot going on during this New York Fashion Week<\/a>. From runway shows like Coach’s SS25 New York High Line takeover<\/a> to the many, many parties, celebrities appear all around the city. But on Monday, the stars flocked to attend a glamorous red carpet for a worthy cause: the Kering Foundation’s third annual Caring for Women dinner.<\/p>\n

Co-chaired by Salma Hayek, her husband and Kering CEO Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault, Kim Kardashian, Donatella Versace, and Naomi Watts, the event supported three charities working to end violence against women and girls. Gayle King hosted an A-list guest list that included Dakota Johnson, Katy Perry, Viola Davis, Priyanka Chopra, and Julianne Moore.<\/p>\n

As part of the event’s auction, many pieces from Kering-owned brands like Alexander McQueen<\/a> and Saint Laurent<\/a> went under the hammer, helping to raise funds for Girl Effect<\/a>, It\u2019s On Us<\/a>, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence<\/a>. Generating nearly USD$3 million for the US charities, the event was a smashing success, with attendees making sure to dress accordingly.<\/p>\n
