Posting a photo of the supermodel-turned-mogul holding the baby\u2019s pocket sized<\/a> foot in her signature chrome-manicured hand<\/a>, the musician simply captioned the image, \u201cWelcome home\u201d. Bieber quelled any anticipation around their son\u2019s name by revealing the newborn\u2019s traditional yet tender title, Jack Blues Bieber, alongside a bear emoji.<\/p>\n

Given the heightened interest surrounding what the Biebers would call their bub\u2014including speculation that Plum and Blossom<\/a> were on their list if he was a girl\u2014netizens were undeniably surprised by their conventional choice. However, the selection has a deeper and more special meaning, as Jack is also the middle name of Justin\u2019s father, Jeremy Bieber. Jack\u2019s arrival also means that three generations of Bieber men share the \u2018JB\u2019 initials.<\/p>\n

As per the United States\u2019 baby registry, \u2018Jack\u2019 has increasingly become more in demand with the name currently ranked 14 in popularity. Blues, on the other hand, is more of a specialist epithet and has not entered the top 1000 names in history. Of course, the musical-inspired moniker has also drawn parallels to another nepo baby, Beyonc\u00e9 and JAY-Z’s eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter.<\/p>\n

The Rhode Beauty founder has not yet publicly addressed the birth except for resharing her husband\u2019s post on her Instagram stories. The couple announced their pregnancy<\/a> in May this year after sharing images from their tropical vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii. The 27-year-old recently opened up about her choice to share her journey to motherhood with the world, revealing to W Magazine<\/em><\/a> that she probably could have hid it until the end.\u201d \u201cI didn\u2019t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly,\u201d she said. \u201cI felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn\u2019t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bieber has also previously addressed her apprehension about raising a child in the public eye. “I want kids so bad, but I get scared,\u201d she told the Sunday Times<\/em> in May. \u201cIt’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends… I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.”<\/p>\n
