Gigi Hadid knows that when it comes to being a wedding guest<\/a>, it\u2019s best to play it safe with your outfit choice. Within a carousel of photos from her summer, the supermodel shared a snap from her friend Liv Perez\u2019s wedding, revealing some style inspiration for your next dress code event in the process.<\/p>\n

For the outdoor nuptials, Hadid, who is undoubtedly used to garnering all the attention, was careful not to steal the spotlight for her friend\u2019s big day, opting for a more low-key (but still stunning) dress by celebrity favourite brand Magda Butrym<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The mock-neck, taupe-brown body-con ensemble featured long sleeves and draped detailing along the hips. A cluster of the designer\u2019s signature rosettes was affixed to one side with a thigh-high split that revealed snakeskin pumps, which could be seen in other photos shared by guests.<\/p>\n

The look has gone down much better than her pal Kendall Jenner\u2019s infamous M\u00f4not dress<\/a>, which\u00a0she donned for her friend Lauren Perez\u2019s wedding in 2022.<\/p>\n

Boasting ample skin and cleavage with its risqu\u00e9 cut-out design that stretched from the neck to her lower torso, the bold outfit spurred a wave of online criticism from fans who dubbed the dress as inappropriate wedding attire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Perez was quick to defend her famous bridesmaid, telling the haters that she thought Jenner \u201clooked stunning\u201d and \u201cloved it.\u201d Jenner also confirmed to commenters that she ran the dress by the bride in advance.<\/p>\n
