Known for her steadfast devotion to education, Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al-Missned<\/a> shared her concerns on a recent devastation that hit two schools in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Addressing her 1.3 million followers, she emphasised, “Dozens of people were lost or injured yesterday while sheltering in two schools, which were supposed to be ‘safe havens’ in the Gaza strip.”<\/p>\n

As the Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, also known as QF, Sheikha Moza has long looked into the protection of students and providing premiere educational facilities.<\/p>\n

This is why her continuous advocacy for human rights across the Middle East, and her devotion for it to become a reality, are constantly praised through her various initiatives and outspoken messages.<\/p>\n

Looking back, this isn’t the first time Sheikha Moza has shared her thoughts about the livelihood of children in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Just two months back on June 20, 2024, for World Refugee Day,<\/a> the Sheikha took to social media a series of posts.<\/p>\n

With her unwavering dedication, she delved into the impact the conflict causes.<\/p>\n

“One of the first casualties of conflict is education,” she explained. “As families seek refuge from war, too often they find themselves without even the basic infrastructure for children to learn.<\/p>\n

“As such, we work to ensure displaced children can still study. Their education will be fundamental in equipping them to break the cycle of violence and rebuild their communities.”<\/p>\n

Even reposting a powerful message by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNWRA) calling for a cease-fire.”This must stop. #CeasefireNow before we lose what\u2019s left of our common humanity.”<\/p>\n

In the Midst of Celebrating Qatar’s Graduates<\/h3>\n

During Qatar\u2019s graduation season, Sheikha Moza took the time to remember the children of Gaza.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the less fortunate, she captioned the post, \u201cAs we celebrate graduates here in Qatar and around the world, my thoughts turn to the students in Gaza; to those who did not graduate,
