When David Beckham requests our attention on social media, we know what typically follows will be worthy of a double tap, especially if history has demonstrated anything. (Hint: Videos of Victoria Beckham performing drunken karaoke<\/a> with her Spice Girls<\/a> bandmates).<\/p>\n

On July 4, 2024, the Beckham\u2019s joint 121 million Instagram followers awoke to the footballer taking a trip down memory lane<\/a>, sharing what is arguably their greatest post of all time with the accompanying caption, \u201cLook what we found\u2026 \ud83d\ude05\ud83d\udc9c\u201d<\/p>\n

Yes, 25 years after tying the knot in an Irish castle wearing matching purple outfits, the former pop supernova and Premier League star have revived their controversial wedding looks in celebration of the milestone anniversary. The Beckhams \u201cwannabe\u201d back in 1999, indeed.<\/p>\n

Despite the quarter century since the ensembles\u2019 debut, Victoria and David somehow look more stylish in them now than they did then. Perhaps we can attribute this freshness to a reliant use of the Victoria Beckham by Augustinus Bader skincare line<\/a>. Or, more accurately, the fact they didn\u2019t force their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>, into the matching purple suit and cowboy hat<\/a> he wore for his parent\u2019s nuptials.<\/p>\n

In the absence of frosted tips and a choppy pixie cut, the couple let the looks do all the talking. Yes, they might have updated the styling, but thankfully for us, they kept the golden thrones they posed on at their actual wedding.<\/p>\n

David and Victoria exchanged \u201cI dos\u201d in a Robin Hood-themed ceremony at a 15th-century castle on the outskirts of Dublin. The fashion designer\u2019s Vera Wang wedding dress<\/a> was reported<\/a> to be worth \u00a3100,000 at the time. But given this reprisal, we\u2019d argue it has been worth every cent when factoring in cost per wear.<\/p>\n

The couple shared their first dance to Frank Sinatra\u2019s \u201cIt Had to Be You\u201d, with David gifting Victoria an additional 15 engagement rings<\/a> throughout their marriage. The pair share four children, Brooklyn<\/a>, 25, Romeo<\/a>, 21, Cruz<\/a>, 19, and Harper<\/a>, 12.<\/p>\n
