The best kinds of monikers are those shared with luxury fashion houses. So, when six-time Grammy-winning artist C\u00e9line Dion<\/a> stepped out in Manhattan on June 18 in a track shirt from French Maison Celine, we had to tell you about the C\u00e9line X Celine spotting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking style cues from the early 2010s, Dion, 56, teamed the athleisure-adjacent shirt with skinny-cut blue denim jeans, a tan leather belt, an olive-hued Chanel flap bag and tri-coloured strappy heels.<\/span><\/p>\n

The outing followed the premiere of the French Canadian powerhouse’s new documentary I Am: Celine Dion<\/i><\/a>, a 102-minute look into her inimitable career and the first time she speaks about her battle with stiff-person syndrom<\/a>e, <\/span>a rare neurological disorder that causes painful muscle spasms. In an elegant silk white set Dion was all smiles as she joined one of her children, Ren\u00e9-Charles Angelil, at Alice Tully Hall in New York.<\/p>\n

Of course, Dion\u2019s street style has always been worthy of our attention, especially since collaborating with image architect Law Roach<\/a> during the Spring\/Summer 2016 season of Paris Haute Couture Week<\/a>. (Her Vetements hoodie featuring the <\/a><\/span>Titanic <\/span><\/i><\/a>movie poster<\/a> was instantly deserving of fashion darling status.)<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat was one of the first times fashion really kind of broke the internet,\u201d Roach told The<\/em> BoF Podcast<\/em> <\/a>on June 17. \u201cI had [the sweatshirt] for so long and I thought it was going to be silly\u2026 One day I placed it on a table that would be in [C\u00e9line’s] eyeline when she walked into the room. She walked up and goes, \u2018What is this?\u2019 I said, \u2018It\u2019s Vetements, it\u2019s this new streetwear brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she was like, \u2018Well, when am I going to wear it?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Though her public appearances aren\u2019t as frequent as we\u2019d like given her recent health struggles, we\u2019re delighted to see Dion bravely return to the limelight with such aplomb. <\/span><\/p>\n
