Over the weekend, His Majesty King Abdullah II marked a poignant point in his reign as monarch of the Kingdom of Jordan \u2013 25 years since he took to the throne, succeeding his father, the late King Hussein.<\/p>\n

Celebrations in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and across the entirety of the country were plentiful, to mark this special Silver Jubilee. And, of course, congratulatory messages to His Majesty were abundant.<\/p>\n

But one of the most important people to mark the occasion with some special words was King Abdullah’s wife, Queen Rania, who has been by his side since his coronation.<\/p>\n

The Jordanian royal, who wed King Abdullah in 1993 and then became queen in 1999, shared a moving message to her husband on the anniversary of his 25-year reign.<\/p>\n

\u201cKing of my heart,” she said in her touching message on Instagram. “Congratulations on your Silver Jubilee.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inside King Abdullah’s Silver Jubilee celebrations<\/h2>\n

With the whole royal family of Jordan present in Amman, Queen Rania<\/a>, Princess Muna Al Hussein, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa<\/a>, Prince Hashem, Princess Iman,<\/a> Princess Salma and 9,000 members of the royal court from government officials to civilians, the entirety of Jordan eagerly anticipated for King Abdullah\u2019s arrival and speech to mark his silver jubilee.<\/p>\n

After a grand entrance by the military and security forces, which boasted over 3,200 personnel with dozens of aircraft and a dedicated parachute jump highlighting Jordan\u2019s improvement over the last 25 years, the celebration was nothing short of grand for the King of Jordan.<\/p>\n

Amidst the event where lines of people were celebrating, King Abdullah reminisces over the kingdom\u2019s achievements, \u201cI am proud to be Jordanian,\u201d he says, \u201cfor Jordan\u2019s achievements during the harshest of circumstances, and persevering during the most difficult of times, and standing firm by what is right during the toughest of situations.\u201d the King added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the Jordan to which we belong, the Jordan we built together.\u201d<\/p>\n

His Royal Highness further thanked his family and the nation, \u201cFrom my big family across this great nation, I draw the will and optimism, and from my small family, love and strength. My pledge to you is that Jordan will remain free, dignified, safe, and
