From the crystal blue shores of Ummahat Island, there sits St. Regis Red Sea Resort. An exquisite location that premiered Saudi Arabia\u2019s first, and most especially, historic fashion milestone with Red Sea Fashion Week<\/a> (RSFW). <\/span><\/p>\n

The noteworthy fashion showcase embraced its guests, sporting the latest Arab designers as they welcomed the sun and the lustrous serenity of the ocean. Led by the Saudi Fashion Commission<\/a>, the launch spanned three days drawing in a diverse range of guests, spending the weekend with a one-of-a-kind spectacle in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The inaugural event introduced an exclusive line of beloved designers tailoring resort styles for summer\u2019s luxe destinations. Warmly greeting seven female-owned brands from the Kingdom such as Tima Abid who opened the show, alongside Morrocan brand Eau and Turkish vegan silk brand Niluu showcasing the cr\u00e8me de la cr\u00e8me of designs.<\/span><\/p>\n

From featuring regional luxury, ready-to-wear and jewellery in the designer lineup, the three-day event was nothing short of the Kingdom\u2019s step to globalise Arab fashion, with the first-ever swimwear show by Eau taking place. It was an elusive take that exhibited monokinis and beachwear that featured exposed shoulders and the midriff minimally.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being true to the Saudi Fashion Commission’s vision, the organisation provided a platform for 21 brands, including the Saudi 100 Brands such as APOA, Chaldene, Italian footwear De Siena and a plethora of local and regional brands. And with RSFW\u2019s top-of-the-line setting, this proved to elevate the fashion experience as promised, attracting buyers locally, regionally and internationally, amplifying the Saudi market to a global scale.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the event drew to a close, CEO Burak \u00c7akmak noted once more that the Saudi Fashion Commission will continue to empower and showcase local talents through an array of dedicated initiatives for the Kingdom’s fashion development.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This three-day event at the St. Regis Red Sea Resort has been a cultural exchange connecting local, regional, and international brands in the heart of one of the kingdom\u2019s breathtaking natural landscapes,” he said. \u201cOur commitment to economic growth, sustainable development, and the promotion of local talents and creatives on a global scale is unwavering. The Saudi Fashion Commission is dedicated to fostering a dynamic ecosystem where creativity and business acumen flourish.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
