Her new boyfriend Benny Blanco<\/a> makes breakfast for her every morning<\/a> and went on public record this week saying he wants to marry her<\/a>\u2014so of course Selena Gomez couldn\u2019t wipe the smile off her face this weekend.<\/p>\n

The musician and actor, 31, looked jaws-on-the-floor stunning as she arrived at the world premiere of her new film Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em> at the 77th<\/sup> Cannes Film Festival. In a monochrome, off-the-shoulder floor-length gown by Saint Laurent, the star accessorised with a Bulgari diamond necklace and chandelier earrings.<\/p>\n

Gomez\u2019s makeup artist, the revered Hung Vanngo, shared the products he used to achieve his star client\u2019s flawless beauty look. Using Gomez\u2019s own brand, Rare Beauty<\/a>, he used the Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Eyeliner<\/a>, Perfect Strokes Volumising Mascara<\/a>, All Of The Above Weightless Eyeshadow Stick<\/a> in shade Rose Taupe, Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush in shade Joy<\/a>, Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter in shade Mesmerize<\/a> and Kind Words Matte Lip Liner<\/a> & Lipstick<\/a> both in shade Talented.<\/p>\n

Directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, Emilia P\u00e9rez <\/em>sees Argentinian trans actor Karla Sofia Gascon play Juan \u201cManitas\u201d Del Monte, a ruthless cartel leader in Mexico who is married to Jessi (Gomez). But when Manitas enlists lawyer Rita (Zoe Saldana) to help him fake his own death and become a woman named Emilia P\u00e9rez, drama ensues. The film, which received a nine-minute standing ovation later that evening, is actually a musical as well, with composition and lyrics by the one Lin-Manuel Miranda.<\/p>\n
