As one of this year\u2019s hosts of the Met Gala<\/a>, it was a given that Jennifer Lopez was going to make a statement \u2013 and Jenny from the Block certainly didn\u2019t disappoint.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gracing the red carpet in a custom Schiaparelli gown by Daniel Roseberry, glistened on the steps of the Met in the figure-hugging mermaid-style gown, which was comprised of sheer tulle and a slew of rhinestones and pearls.<\/p>\n

In the true element of craftsmanship from the house of Schiaparelli, the dress took over 800 hours of hand embroidery work to finish and featured an incredible 2,500,000 silver foil bugles and beads across the entire gown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Jennifer<\/a><\/p>\n

Not one to cut corners when it comes to sparkle, JLo further accessorised the gown with Tiffany & Co. diamonds, which included a 75-carat statement necklace. The singer, who is also known for her love of Arab designers, opted for a pair of heels by Lebanese designer Andrea Wazen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lopez, who is one of this year\u2019s Met Gala hosts alongside\u00a0Zendaya<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Bad Bunny<\/span><\/a> and\u00a0Chris Hemsworth<\/span><\/a>, appeared solo at this year\u2019s Met Gala without husband Ben Affleck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme of the Met Gala is \u201cThe Garden of Time\u201d, which aligns with the Costume Institute\u2019s latest exhibition, \u201cSleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion\u201d.<\/p>\n

Lopez is a seasoned Met Gala attendee. Last year she made a triumphant return to fashion\u2019s night of nights in a Western-inspired ensemble by Ralph Lauren after skipping the Met Gala in 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But we have to say, JLo dripping in diamonds is always one for the
