Kate Middleton,<\/a> the Princess of Wales, has revealed she is undergoing treatment for cancer.<\/p>\n

In a video posted to the official account for the Prince and Princess of Wales, the British royal revealed that following her abdominal surgery<\/a> in January, it was found cancer was present.<\/p>\n

The wife of Prince William stated the news had come as a \u201chuge shock\u201d following an “incredibly tough couple of months\u201d, but also affirmed she was \u201cwell and getting stronger every day\u201d.<\/p>\n

Kate stated that following the test results that cancer was present she was advised to start treatment.<\/p>\n

“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” she said.<\/p>\n
