Kuwait is in celebration as it commemorates its 64th National Day.<\/p>\n

Every February 25, it is a day dedicated to the nation’s rich culture, heritage, and history. All the while, its also a time when all Kuwaitis come together to celebrate their love for their country.<\/p>\n

Kuwait is one such country that births talented artists and artisans who are committed to the craft of dressmaking. In celebration, we bring you the Arab designers who have made quite the mark, whether on a global scale or a local one. These designers have committed to engraving their names and showcasing their craftsmanship for the world to see.<\/p>\n

With Kuwaiti National Day in mind, GRAZIA brings you six Kuwaiti designer brands that you need to know about.<\/p>\n

Bazza Alzouman<\/h3>\n

Bazza Alzouman’s collections tell tales through her understated ensembles – ensembles that usher in a sense of etherealness and exquisite craftsmanship. Even the most discerning eyes are captivated by her collection.<\/p>\n

This Kuwaiti designer started off her love of the art of dressmaking at a young age and embarked on a journey to create ever since. Graduating from Parsons School of Design, she went on to work for reputable designers like Naeem Khan who helped forge her path in evening wear.<\/p>\n

Her latest collection transcends boundaries. Her sheer diligence for the craft is paired with ultra-luxe fabrics and silhouettes, making it a collection hard to resist.<\/p>\n

A glamour unbeknownst to the ordinary – behind Marzook is a sibling duo that are on the path to challenge the norms of fashion. Bold, audacious and whimsical, their designs will never fail to have the crowds in awe.<\/p>\n

What started as a journey to design for just friends and family became a revolution in the fashion realm. Each handmade artistry draws inspiration from art, architecture and even nature, blended to create gems that break the barrier of regular fashion norms.<\/p>\n

Their line of accessories is crafted specially from precious metal plexi glass resins, and Swarovski encrusted spherical shapes and styles. All that join in harmony to create a blend of Art Deco and innovation, birthing unforgettable glamour.<\/p>\n

Montaha’s ability to adapt to the rapid changes in the fashion scene is what makes her a remarkable designer, along with her sheer drive to dive headstrong and bring to life her visionary crafts. Her designs embody a bridge between modern Western silhouettes with classic traditional ones. After she started out making jewellery for her friends and family, May returned to her motherland, Kuwait to kickstart her eponymous label.
