What<\/strong>\u2019<\/strong>s your first lipstick memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I was younger, I would watch my mother Patsy putting on her Ruby Red lipstick. She would always tell me that red lipstick is instant glamour and happiness. Just wake up and wear it! Throughout history, lipstick has had this instantaneous effect – defiance, strength, confidence. You put it on and it immediately enlivens your complexion, brightening your eyes and teeth. It’s instant star confidence in a tube.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

What makes your Hollywood Beauty Icon lipsticks so different?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Darlings, for years I studied the shading, sculpting effects and artistry of old Hollywood cinematic light tricks. From the 1950s era of adding clear waxes and sheer tights on the lens to blur, diffuse and create atmospheric lights on the face, to the candlelit contrasts of the black and white movies. This collection is a fusion of the past and present because I have also captured the magic of modern Hollywood and technology – channeling the effects of modern-day social media filters, the flattering HMI Diva Lights and the genius of digital retouching into makeup magic. It’s the Hollywood effect for your lips!<\/p>\n

It’s a combination of my Hollywood cinematic 3D light architect beautifying filters – with light-diffusing, light-reflecting effects that make lips look smoother, fuller, wider, more nourished and hydrated. My flawless formula textures with an expert blend of wax and oils that make it so easy to wear, it just glides on. And my super flattering contour effect is thanks to 3D crystal pigments that play with the light, enhancing the contours of the lips.<\/p>\n

Do you have a go-to shade?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I believe there’s a perfect red, pink or nude for everyone. The right shade can make your complexion pop, your eyes sparkle and your lips look their fullest, widest and most beautiful. That’s why I knew I had to create new super-flattering easy-to-choose, easy-to-use and easy-to-apply shades that would suit everyone.<\/p>\n

And darlings, one of my favourites from this collection has to be the ‘Icon Baby’. We’ve been using it secretly on the red carpet for the past eight months and my iconic beauty muses can’t get enough. I’m obsessed with it, Kate Moss<\/a> is obsessed with it \u2013 we’re all obsessed with it! First came the ‘Pillow Talk’ phenomenon, and now ‘Icon Baby’ is ready for its starring role. It’s the next generation of pinks.<\/p>\n

Matte or shiny?<\/strong><\/p>\n
