\nThe most sought after tables are on the terrace, with sweeping views of the city skyline. The twinkling lights of Downtown Dubai are utterly entrancing and you\u2019ll find it a struggle to maintain conversation while you\u2019re captivated by the scene below.<\/p>\n

Luckily the food is a welcome distraction. As the sunsets on the horizon, plates begin to arrive. You know a kitchen is top notch when they pay attention to detail, and in this case the freshly baked warm bread brought to the table kicks off proceedings with aplomb. Infused with seaweed, it delivers an umami-hit, especially when paired with the maple syrup and sea salt topped European butter. You also get a rich pistachio-topped labneh and spiced hummus along with dates to break your fast.<\/p>\n

Starters are fresh, flavoursome and a medley of tastes and textures. Winter squash soup pops with pomegranate, a baby gem lettuce salad is paired with an Asian sesame dressing, plus there is crispy calamari and a creamy Burrata salad to complete the selection. Each diner also gets their own individual, but very generous, portions \u2013 perfect for Covid times when sharing can prove tricky.<\/p>\n

Mains are also impressive; grilled chicken comes with a moreish satay sauce and coconut rice, while the meltingly tender black cod sits atop creamed corn. Round it all off with a beautifully presented fruit salad, though you\u2019ll be hard pressed to manage another mouthful after this feast.<\/p>\n
