With Venus in retrograde<\/a>, Breakup Season<\/a>\u2122 has claimed many of our favourite pairings, with the likes of Sophie Turner<\/a>, Bella Hadid, Rosal\u00eda, Kendall Jenner<\/a> and even Meryl Streep<\/a> announcing their newfound singledom in the course of a 12 month period.<\/p>\n

Yet, the hopeless romantics in us here at GRAZIA are firm believers that there is love after heartbreak. Hailey and Justin Bieber celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in 2023. The pair tied the knot in a South Carolina wedding in September 2019, but it wasn’t all smooth sailing in the lead-up to their nuptials\u2014despite getting married in a water-front ceremony. You see, the Biebers had only reunited for one month before the singer proposed to the then-model. The pair dated\u2014albeit not exclusively\u2014from 2015 to 2016 when the pair split in a self-described “dramatic” fashion. “‘Fizzled’ would not be the right word \u2014 it was more like a very dramatic excommunication,” the Rhode Beauty founder explained at the time. “There was a period where if I walked into a room, he would walk out.”<\/p>\n

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik dated off-an-on for five years from 2015 to 2021. The pair officially ceased seeing one another after the One Direction alum was reportedly involved in an altercation with the supermodel’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. The pair first met at a Victoria’s Secret after-party in 2015 before splitting up in March 2018. By January 2020, the pair had officially reconciled and were expecting their first child together. Hadid and Malik welcomed their daughter, Khai, into the world in September that year. Both now co-parent the toddler.<\/p>\n

Surely you remember the headlines when Prince William split from Kate Middleton. The pair were in college and by the sounds of it, it was the Prince who called it quits. \u201cI, at the time, wasn\u2019t very happy about [the break-up], but actually, it made me a stronger person,\u201d says Middleton. \u201cYou find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn\u2019t realised or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you\u2019re younger.
