The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has intensified movement restrictions in a necessary attempt to contain the spread of COVID-19. It has been confirmed that citizens and residents who wish to leave their homes for any reason during the two-week sterilisations drive are required to register for a movement permit.<\/p>\n

The only exceptions are those deemed to work in vital sectors for whom a letter from their employers will suffice. “With regard to the exempt sectors and their employees, registration is not required. But, they must obtain a letter from the employer stating their movement to and from work. The paper has to be presented if stopped by authorities. It can also be used to waive violations by radar. \u201c shared Dubai Media Office in reference to employees of\u00a0vital sectors<\/a>\u00a0who are exempted from the move permit.<\/p>\n
