It\u2019s a widely held understanding that Taylor Swift loves a London boy<\/a>. So much so that she dedicated a song on her 2019 album, Lover<\/em>, to all the English lads she\u2019s fancied over the years<\/a>. But it appears her devotion to the United Kingdom isn\u2019t exclusive to romantic relationships.<\/p>\n

Last night, Swift left her boyfriend Travis Kelce<\/a> in Kansas City to travel nearly 7,000 kilometres to support Beyonc\u00e9 at the European premiere of her Renaissance concert film.<\/a> Indeed, when Swift wants to repay a favour, she\u2019ll go to great lengths.<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Swift embraced the metallic mode of the evening in a bejewelled disco ball-inspired column dress. The sparkling silver number featured a sculpted neckline and body-conscious fit, with a plunging slit that allowed for some movement from the garment. Mirroring the divide in the dress, Swift styled her blonde curls into a Studio 54 side part \u00e0 la Jerry Hall.<\/a><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s attendance at Leicester Square\u2019s Odeon Theatre should come as no surprise to devoted fans\u2014both \u2018Swifties\u2019 and members of the \u2018Beyhive\u2019. In early October, Beyonc\u00e9 made a public display of encouragement to the 33-year-old by attending the premiere of Swift\u2019s Eras Tour movie<\/a> in Los Angeles. Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s presence at the event was the first the pair were together outside of an industry setting. Following the theatrical debut, Swift took to social media to sing the 42-year-old\u2019s praises.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so glad I\u2019ll never know what my life would\u2019ve been like without @beyonce\u2019s influence,” wrote Swift on Instagram. “The way she\u2019s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She\u2019s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairy tale. \ud83d\ude07\ud83d\ude4f\ud83e\udd79\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift didn\u2019t attend the Los Angeles screening of Renaissance: A Film by Beyonc\u00e9<\/em><\/a> as she was reeling from a slew of tragic events<\/a> that plagued the South American leg of her stadium tour. But after recovering from the calamities<\/a> with Kelce in his Missouri hometown<\/a>, it\u2019s apparent Swift wasn\u2019t going to miss the opportunity to support her contemporary.<\/p>\n

These exhibitions of devotion from both Swift and Beyonc\u00e9 are seemingly part of a concerted effort to dispel any lingering doubt about their unwavering support for one another. In 2009, Swift and Beyonce were both written into a competitive narrative that pitted them against each other after Kanye West stormed the stage at the MTV Music Video Awards to declare Beyonce deserved a Moonman over the then-emerging country star.<\/p>\n
