Jennifer Lopez has released part two of the first official trailer for her upcoming album film, This Is Me\u2026Now: The Film<\/em>. And fans have been going wild over a particular part of the clip that seemingly features a sentimental letter.<\/p>\n

Co-written by her husband, Ben Affleck, the snippet offers a brief glimpse of a letter the actor may have written to his now-wife<\/a> in 2002.<\/p>\n

\u201cLife\u2019s tough, but you\u2019re sweet,\u201d reads the note.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks for the gift. Hope you like the flowers. You told me you could never have enough. I believe you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dated December 24, 2002, and signed with a simple \u201cB\u201d, the letter, which burns in the trailer along with others, is believed to be a replica of an actual note Affleck gave to Lopez when they first got together in the early 2000s.<\/p>\n

The trailer shows Lopez, drenched from the rain, sitting in front of a fireplace and shedding tears over a box of letters, before diving into a montage of cinematic dance numbers.<\/p>\n

“When I was a little girl, when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always: in love,” the singer says in a voice-over.<\/p>\n

This Is Me\u2026Now: The Film<\/em> will stream on Prime Video on February 16, 2024, and is set to delve into the singer\u2019s storied love life<\/a>. The name is a riff on her third studio album, ‘ This Is Me… Then’, which was released in 2002.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album is the most honest thing I have done, a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist,\u201d she\u00a0told Vogue<\/em><\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think they know things about what happened to me along the way\u2014but they really have no idea and a lot of times, they get it so wrong. There\u2019s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Part one of the official trailer closes with Lopez’s quote explaining the film’s purpose.<\/p>\n

“This musical experience is a manifestation through music, film, and reality, of a life’s journey on the search for the truth about love,” it reads.<\/p>\n

Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51, dated in the noughties and even got engaged<\/a> before parting ways in 2004. The Argo<\/em> director has since admitted<\/a> that the heightened media frenzy around their relationship at the time caused much of the stress that led him to end things with Lopez.<\/p>\n

They rekindled their romance<\/a> in 2021 after Lopez split from athlete Alex Rodriguez and married<\/a> the following year.<\/p>\n

He also spoke with WSJ Magazine<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>about his \u201csecond chance\u201d\u00a0with the pop star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very lucky in my life in that I have benefited from second chances, and I am aware that other people don\u2019t even get first chances,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ve had second chances in my career. I\u2019ve had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple share five children: Lopez with her ex-husband Marc Anthony and Affleck with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner<\/a>.<\/p>\n
