It\u2019s North West\u2019s world, we\u2019re just living it. This was apparent after the latest episode of The Kardashians<\/em>, in which the 10-year-old cover star<\/a>\u2014who is rumoured to have an estimated net worth of AUD$500 million<\/a>\u2014came for nearly every single member of her family<\/a> who attended the 2023 Met Gala<\/a> (and then some).<\/p>\n

Like her father, Kanye West, the \u2018nepo baby<\/a>\u2019 has developed a reputation for her forthright candidness and brutally honest critiques. And with her sun in Gemini<\/a>\u2014the astrological sign known for being the best communicators\u2014we understand that her scathing reviews come from a place of affection, not malice. As the parody account \u201cNori\u2019s Black Book<\/a>\u201d would say, West is just trying to help people be the best versions of themselves.<\/p>\n

In the most recent episode of the reality series, West took a page out of her mother\u2019s, Kim Kardashian, book and got \u201cup and worked!<\/a>\u201d Within the 36-minute run time, West managed to appraise the Met Gala looks of her mother<\/a>, her aunt, Kendall Jenner<\/a>, Kardashian\u2019s former ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson<\/a>, and even Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry<\/a>. All in a day\u2019s work for North!<\/p>\n

Within the first minutes of meeting the couturier in New York, West had already delivered some notes for the designer. \u201cI heard you were into the look,\u201d the American-born creative director remarked. Without missing a beat, West responded with a blas\u00e9, \u201cYeah, well, it could just be a little bit better.\u201d When asked what changes she would make to elevate the look, West revealed she would want Kardashian to wear a bra and that there are \u201cway too many gaps in the pearls\u201d. \u201cIt looks like she\u2019s a little Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped,\u201d West also noted before adding, \u201cThe pearls look fake.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a confessional, Kardashian revealed this wasn\u2019t a common occurrence: \u201cI had John Galliano fitting me for a dress and North was giving notes. This is just her vibe.\u201d However, she did give Roseberry\u2019s design a special mention given it was the first time West actually liked one of Kardashian\u2019s Met Gala looks. West has never attended a Met Gala, given the event\u2019s strict rules about guests under 18 years of age being prohibited, but Kardashian was pregnant with her when she attended her first Met in the infamous floral Givenchy dress in 2013.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re unsure if Roseberry had ever received such pointed feedback, especially delivered by an eloquent ten-year-old, but he did confirm that West\u2019s criticisms were \u201chis worst nightmare come to life”. \u201cIt feels like I\u2019m getting ‘punked’, being read for filth the night before the Met Gala by a nine-year-old,\u2019 Roseberry added.<\/p>\n

It seems that was the sentiment discerned by all who were victims of West\u2019s scathing eye, especially Davidson. Though the comedian previously had an \u2018N\u2019 branded onto his chest<\/a>, it seems the once-held affection is no longer reciprocated. Watching the Met live stream from a nearby hotel room, West remarked that she \u201chates it\u201d in between bites of popcorn. \u201cYou\u2019re going to the Met Gala Pete, not the gas station.\u201d Penelope Disick, Kourtney Kardashian\u2019s daughter, noted that Jared Leto\u2019s Choupette ensemble<\/a> was \u201ckind of cringe.\u201d<\/p>\n

It does sound like West has a lesson in manners coming her way upon her arrival back to her Calabasas mansion<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s a way to be honest and not hurt people\u2019s feelings, and I want you to learn that,\u201d Kardashian said.
