Hailey Bieber is nothing if not loyal when it comes to her style. One of her favourite go-to outfit formulas for years? The ‘big coat, mini skirt’<\/a> combination that she works all year round. But now, she takes the look to new extremes.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, in New York City, the Rhode Beauty<\/a> founder doubled down on the silhouette, pairing one of her biggest coats yet with barely an inch left of her leather Cultnaked skort t<\/a>o see. Though the burgundy outerwear was cinched at the waist, it featured some prominent power shoulders\u2014and the widest lapels we have ever seen.<\/p>\n

Bieber made sure to rug up for the chilly NYC weather with a V-neck black sweater and sheer tights by Calzedonia.<\/p>\n

For the rest of the look, she brought a business casual twist with heeled Mary-Jane glove pumps by Proenza Schouler<\/a>, a Chanel Boston bag in a rich maroon hue and ’90s-style sunglasses.<\/p>\n

Flattering, versatile and comfortable, the look makes for a great outfit formula for work, play and everything in between. But as Bieber demonstrates, it’s all about balance. The trick to nailing it is working with a chunky or open shoe. The model also likes to bring a touch of femininity with statement earrings and always pairs the micro hemline with a snug baby tee or oversized knit.<\/p>\n

Come the cooler months, we’ll definitely be taking this look out for a whirl, but if you need further convincing, allow Bieber’s many other variations on this outfit to seal the deal.<\/p>\n
