Throughout his time in space, Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi<\/a> shared numerous photographs of the region from above the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

His most recent post was a tribute to the Palestinian people who are “experiencing unspeakable pain and destruction”, sharing a snap of the Gaza strip from space. The Emirati astronaut shared a poignant message alongside the post, highlighting his hopes for “people to all”.<\/p>\n

“Space reminded me that there are no real borders separating countries and cultures,” he began.<\/p>\n

He went on to note that “humanity transcends borders” and that it is mankind who draws the “lines on the map”.<\/p>\n

“A few months ago, I captured this photo of the Gaza strip, a place that is experiencing unspeakable pain and destruction,” he attested. “The footage on the ground is devastating.”<\/p>\n
