When it comes to Taylor Swift, the multi-hyphenated musician has two modes of operating. The first is to work in hidden references<\/a> so obscure they take years to uncover. The second form is less than subtle, with overt displays that can\u2019t help but garner headlines. <\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s latest public foray is the latter, with the musician using the downtime between her multi-million dollar grossing Eras Tour to reprieve her \u201csquad\u201d era from 2014. How very fitting considering the recent release of \u201c1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/a>\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Swift eschewed spending evenings in New York<\/a> with her new boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end<\/a> Travis Kelce, for a blatant display of female empowerment by taking a group of celebrity friends for dinner. <\/span><\/p>\n

In attendance with Swift\u2019s long-term best friends, Selena Gomez<\/a> and Gigi Hadid<\/a>, and Swift\u2019s newer confidants, Sophie Turner and Brittany Mahomes. Cara Delevingne also accompanied Swift\u2019s squad, though she wasn\u2019t pictured with the group during the outing. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the occasion, Swift and her girl group frequented the upmarket Japanese restaurant BondST in Hudson Yards, putting on varying displays of after-dark dressing. Or, \u201cMidnights\u201d dressing, considering this is a Swift outing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hadid and Swift sported similar prep-inspired outfits, with the supermodel looking to a slouchy cashmere button-down dress from her label Guest In Residence<\/a> and a pair of heeled leather boots. <\/span><\/p>\n

Swift looked to a pleated Prince of Wales check mini skirt from Miu Miu<\/a>, a black long-sleeve shirt and Stella McCartney<\/a> accessories, including similar stiletto boots and a croc-embossed bucket bag made from vegan materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Continuing from Turner\u2019s rendezvous in Paris, where she was spotted kissing aristocrat Peregrine Pearson<\/a>, the <\/span>Game of Thrones <\/span><\/i>alum wore the quintessential French girl look: structured blue jeans, pointed heels and a sculpted blazer. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gomez rounded out the group with a different take on sweater dressing in a slouchy, knitted beige dress. <\/span><\/p>\n

I<\/span>t would be remiss not to mention that luxury-label wardrobes aren\u2019t the only thing this group shares, with the likes of Swift, Turner and Hadid all previously linked to Joe \u201cMr. Perfectly Fine\u201d Jonas<\/a>. Gomez also previously dated Hadid\u2019s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Zayn Malik<\/a> after the pair broke up. <\/span><\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one thing Swift and her friends do better than revenge, it\u2019s revenge dressing. Talk about vigilante sh*t!<\/span><\/p>\n
