The third generation of the Kardashian-Jenner family has certainly proved to be a masterclass in mononymous monikers. Yet, for the oldest daughter in the infamous matriarchy, Kourtney Kardashian, the Lemme <\/i>founder certainly takes a more conventional approach in comparison to the unique names of her nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

So, when news of her pregnancy with her Blink-182 drummer husband, Travis Barker<\/a>, emerged, speculation regarding what possible names the couple\u2019s respective fourth child<\/a> could claim reached a fever pitch.<\/p>\n

Naturally, internet sleuths were quick to cross-check Barker and Kardashian\u2019s online interactions for any clues, which led to the biggest breakthrough in their search: a comment left by Barker on Kardashian\u2019s Halloween-themed post from 2022 claiming that their future child would be named Elvis.<\/p>\n

The fact that the couple dressed up as Elvis-obsessed couple Alabama and Clarence Worley from True Detective <\/i>seemed also to hint that this name was a front runner, with the couple\u2019s \u2018Little Drummer Boy\u2019-themed gender reveal<\/a> proving to corroborate this theory.<\/p>\n

However, it looks like these pieces of \u2018proof\u2019 could be a red herring, with an innocuous blink-and-you\u2019ll-miss-it moment from Kardashian\u2019s vintage Disneyland-themed baby shower signalling that baby Barker could have a different name entirely.<\/p>\n

In a now-deleted Instagram story posted by Kardashian, the 44-year-old filmed one of her guests hanging up a handwritten note on the wishing tree, with the beginning of the message reading \u2018may baby Rocky\u2026\u2019 signalling that their bundle of joy could be named Rocky.<\/p>\n

In an interview for Complex<\/em><\/a> with his 17-year-old daughter Alabama, Barker revealed that his idea of the \u2018Goat Name\u2019 is \u2018Rocky Thirteen\u2019, which felt like a dead giveaway, but we know better than to take anything at face value with this family.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

In the interview, Barker shared that Rocky is inspired by Rocky George, the guitarist of the thrash metal band Suicidal Tendencies, and \u201cthe greatest boxing movie of all time\u201d, with thirteen \u201cjust the greatest number ever\u201d.<\/p>\n

And this week, the drummer confirmed the couple’s intention of bestowing this name on their son. On Monday\u2019s episode of One Life Once Chance With Toby Morse<\/em><\/a>, while talking about a benefit concert, he let it slip that he couldn’t attend because it fell on \u201cthe week that Rocky\u2019s due.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the host asked if that meant the name was confirmed, Barker confirmed the news, joking what it meant for the child.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s going to come out of my wife\u2019s vagina, like, doing front kicks and push-ups,\u201d he laughed, adding that Kardashian’s due date will be\u00a0\u201ceither Halloween or, like, the first week of November.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Rocky\u2019 will be welcomed into a blended family of eight, including Kardashian\u2019s children Mason, 13, Penelope<\/a>, 11, and Reign, 8, whom she shares with Scott Disick<\/a>, and Barker\u2019s children, Landon, 19, Alabama, 17 and Barker\u2019s step-daughter, Atiana,
