Following the heartbreaking conflict occurring in Gaza, Palestine, which has resulted in over 4,500 deaths, over 1,500 of which have been children, a number of fundraising and donation initiatives have launched in the UAE.<\/p>\n

The Emirates Red Crescent has launched the \u2018Tarahum for Gaza\u2019 \u2013 which means compassion for Gaza \u2013 where UAE residents can donate in different ways across the country to provide relief and aid for Palestinians.<\/p>\n

Coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Community Development, the initiative has been launched in collaboration with the World Food Programme, with the main goal of aiding the two million Palestinians who have been displaced from their homes in Gaza amidst the ongoing war.<\/p>\n
