Since farewelling the era of Y2K dominance, the fashion zeitgeist has quickly come to adopt the merits of millennial fashion. <\/span>That is, the trending pieces worn in the late 2000s and early 2010s categorised by an egregious amount of indie sleaze and twee undertones. <\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, those labels weren\u2019t around then, but it hasn\u2019t stopped staples like ballet flats, babydoll dresses and leather hot pants from re-entering the mainstream. Yet, despite this recently revived affinity for these mid-aughts silhouettes, there\u2019s one style savant who has never strayed away from millennial trends in her day-to-day dressing. We\u2019re, of course, referring to Kate Moss.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oscillating between edgy and bohemian, the supermodel\u2019s inimitable personal style<\/a> riffs on codes of rockstars and hippies<\/a> yet is underpinned by a sense of light-hearted and humorous elegance. To achieve this, Moss reaches for a handful of quintessential staples from the era, reminding us why they were popular in the first instance. The latest within Moss\u2019 off-duty arsenal<\/a> is the ankle-baring cuffed jeans.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

While walking around London<\/a>, Moss was pictured sporting a straight-leg pair of indigo denim trousers with the hem of her pants upturned and folded to expose the inner fabric. Completing the decades-old silhouette were a pair of black ballet flats, a grey sweater and a camel, double-breasted coat. <\/span><\/p>\n

Though Moss is a perpetual proponent of the classic skinny jean, this cuffed variation of her style uniform is one we can all get on board with by utilising an existing pair of denim in your wardrobe. As for whether this version of Y2K denim will be making a comeback?
