Gigi Hadid sent the internet into a frenzy when she unleashed her Spicy Pasta<\/a> onto the world. But what was to come after the viral dinner, you ask? A gourmet lunch, of course.<\/p>\n

As someone who is always posting enviable tablescapes of family feasts, Hadid has made no secret of her inner foodie. And from the jam-packed glimpses of her everyday eats within her ‘In My Kitchen’ Instagram highlights, it’s clear the 28-year-old has great taste.<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram Stories<\/a> to flex her culinary skills, the supermodel shared the BTS process of crafting one of the most delectable sandwiches we’ve seen on our feeds. Not for the faint of heart, the vegetarian-friendly meal is perfect for anyone after a hearty lunch option during the warmer months that isn’t as rich as the vodka pasta but is more filling than her other famous ‘whatever’s in the fridge’ salad<\/a>. And as a gift to you, we thought we’d lay out the discernable ingredients that went into the delicious meal so that you (and us) may recreate it.<\/p>\n

How to Make Gigi Hadid’s Pesto Sandwich<\/h3>\n

Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

From the first snapshot of the prep for her pesto sandwich, it’s clear what brings the flavour to this hearty meal.<\/p>\n

As pictured, Hadid began with some grilled ciabatta bread and a generous helping of pesto as a base, which we know from previous posts the budding chef enjoys making her own from basil grown at her family’s Pennsylvania farm. On the other slice rests a bed of glossy rocket leaves\u2014coated in what we can only guess from the surrounding ingredients is lemon and olive oil.<\/p>\n

Adding in some kicks of flavour are strips of peppery salami and pickled yellow peppers.<\/p>\n

Next comes the more hearty fillings. Hadid opts for thick slabs of mozzarella on one side and an oxheart tomato slice on the other. She seasons both sides with balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.<\/p>\n

Throw it all together, and you’ll have one truly stunning (and mighty) daytime feast. Excuse us while we mop our drool.<\/p>\n
