When Lizzo sang \u201c<\/span>If I’m shining, everybody gonna shine,\u201d in her 2019 double platinum single \u201cJuice\u201d, we should\u2019ve heeded her warning. <\/span>Now, the three-time Grammy Award winner has embodied her lyrics by quite literally shining, courtesy of her glow-in-the-dark hair. <\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes to the 35-year-old\u2019s beauty choices,<\/a> Lizzo is as bold and experimental as she is in her sartorial expression, however, her high-octane chartreuse tresses could be her most innovative yet. And not, it\u2019s not just because her hair is electric coloured. <\/span><\/p>\n

With Lizzo currently on hiatus during the months-long run of her <\/span>Special <\/span>tour, the multi-hyphenated musician used the opportunity to flex her creativity with an avant-garde two-toned look. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the last stop on the European leg of her tour, Lizzo unveiled the style on stage in Amsterdam, but it was on social media where the look really shone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram<\/a><\/span>, Lizzo debuted her cascading neon green locks, a look she styled in an Aaliyah-esque half-up, half-down look with intricate twists and micro baby braids. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Yitty CEO<\/a> dubbed the hairstyle \u201cGreen Glamour\u201d in her Instagram post, crediting her go-to hair stylist, Shelbeniece Swain, for the style. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance came when Lizzo turned off the lights, revealing a neon glow. <\/span><\/p>\n

We could only imagine the extra power Jane Fonda<\/a> would\u2019ve had in her workout videos if she had a bouffant version of this look in the 80s. <\/span><\/p>\n

Though Lizzo has set the bar high for all future celebrity hairstyles, she\u2019s not the only A-lister to dip their toes, or should we say tresses in Lizzo\u2019s case, into the fluorescent pond. <\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier in the year Hailey Bieber opted for a neon green manicure<\/a> for Coachella weekend<\/a>, departing from her usual glazed look for a literal glow-in-the-dark style.<\/span><\/p>\n

With these lurid looks occurring back-to-back, perhaps neon will become the latest hue to note.
