First, came love. Then, came a “fairytale” wedding in Portofino<\/a>. Then came a baby\u2026 gender reveal party hosted in the most rockstar-approved way possible. <\/span><\/p>\n

For the entirety of\u00a0 Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker\u2019s two-year (and PDA-filled) relationship, the reality star and drummer have served as the template of the modern-day \u2018I\u2019m with the band\u2019 relationship, with the <\/span>Poosh <\/span><\/i>founder regarded as the consummate embodiment of \u201crockstar girlfriend\u201d aesthetic. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, in the announcement of their baby\u2019s gender, \u201cKravis\u201d (as the pair are colloquially known) has upped the ante by sharing the sex of their baby with the world via a figurative and literal drumroll.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a video posted to the couple\u2019s respective Instagram accounts, the 44-year-old reality star was filmed sitting on the Blink 182 member\u2019s knee as he proceeded the announcement with a percussive drum roll. <\/span><\/p>\n

Behind the newlyweds, blue confetti exploded signalling that the Barkers will welcome a boy into their fold. <\/span><\/p>\n

Given that Kardashian revealed the news of her pregnancy by paying tribute to the band\u2019s 1999 video music for \u201cAll The Small Things\u201d\u2014see: holding a sign that read \u201cTravis I\u2019m Pregnant\u201d<\/a> at the band\u2019s Los Angeles concert\u2014their continuation of these music-influenced announcements is a pertinent move on their behalf. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kardashian and Barker shared their baby news a few months after celebrating their first marriage anniversary. This child is the first the couple have had together. <\/span><\/p>\n

Both Kardashian and Barker are parents to three children respectively, with the <\/span>Lemme<\/span><\/i><\/a> founder\u2019s brood including Mason, 13, Penelope, 10 and Reign, 8, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick. Barker is father to Landon, 19, Alabama, 17 and step-father to Atiana De La Hoya, 24. <\/span><\/p>\n

The couple also hasn\u2019t shied away from sharing their struggles with fertility and their IVF journey on the Kardashian-Jenner-led reality series<\/a>, <\/span>The Kardashians<\/span><\/i>. With the pair vocal about their desire to start a family together, these milestone moments in Kardashian\u2019s pregnancy feel all the more filially wholesome. <\/span><\/p>\n

The California-based couple hasn\u2019t disclosed any thoughts about the name of the baby, but the pair\u2019s social media history offers a hint at the types of monikers they\u2019re considering. <\/span><\/p>\n

In a 2021 Halloween post, Barker wrote \u201cOur son’s name will be Elvis\u201d on an Instagram photo of Kardashian dressed as Alabama Worley. <\/span><\/p>\n

As fans of the 1993 cult-classic <\/span>True Romance <\/span><\/i>would be aware, the plot follows the comeuppance of Alabama (Patricia Arquette) and Elvis Presley-loving Clarence (Christian Slater). Since the duo have already shown their fondness for the film\u2014through their Halloween costume and Travis\u2019 daughter\u2019s name\u2014along with being (test) married by an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas,<\/a> we\u2019d say this name is a clear frontrunner. <\/span><\/p>\n
