Since their first outing in 2017, the pair have kept their relationship off the radar. This doesn&#8217;t mean that there haven&#8217;t been occasional slip-ups over the past six years. An eyewitness claims that the two were \u201ccosy, laughing and affectionate.\u201d Before Johnson, Martin was married to <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/me\/articles\/gwyneth-paltrow-friends-with-exes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>, whom he has two children with, for 10 years before they broke it off in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>For a short moment, Johnson and Martin parted ways but got back together immediately after Paltrow&#8217;s encouragement. The two have been going strong ever since.<\/p>\n<p>With the couple being extremely private, any insight into their relationship is extremely rare. When asked about her love life in a December 2021 interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/uk\/life-and-culture\/a38626643\/dakota-johnson-elle-february-cover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Elle<\/em> UK<\/a>, the actress said, &#8220;We&#8217;ve been together for quite a while, and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it&#8217;s nice to be at home and be cosy and private. It was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2018\/10\/08\/chris-martin-dakota-johnson-having-baby-gender-reveal-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ<\/a> that the couple hosted a gender-reveal party with pink and blue balloons, expecting their first baby together.\u00a0 Although this was completely false, the actress claims, &#8220;The only thing I&#8217;m pregnant with is a lot of really good ideas.
