Georgina Rodr\u00edguez, as one half of a power couple, has easily managed to establish her path in the limelight. Whether she’s on the red carpet at Cannes or attending fashion weeks, Georgina’s life seems non-stop, filled with luxury and glamour. Georgina, partner to footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, recently opened up about her journey in a candid interview with Harper’s Bazaar<\/em> Saudi sharing all the triumphs and tragedies of her life. She also spoke about the loss of her son, Angel, during childbirth in the second season of her Netflix reality show, I Am Georgina<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Georgina’s willingness to share such a personal tragedy has struck a cord with her fans who appreciate her openness. “It\u2019s as if I\u2019m not ready to accept it yet, a piece of my heart flew away” she reveals. After receiving the news of the pregnancy and leaving the doctor’s office with a clean bill of health, viewers later witness her being abruptly shaken when she learns that only one of her twin babies had survived childbirth. After halting for a moment, Georgina promptly resumed her duties, especially as a mother. “My children are the most important thing in the world to me, and they take precedence over everything else. You exist solely to provide for your family,” she emotionally expresses. The model admits that she couldn’t afford to interrupt her life with a newborn baby girl, Bella Esmeralda, and four other children including her daughter Alana Marina and three stepchildren through Cristiano.<\/p>\n

Georgina has always desired a close-knit family, and today, especially after suffering a tragedy, family is even more important to her. She says that, “motherhood teaches you the true meaning of pure, unconditional love and how to love others.”<\/p>\n
