If there’s one celebrity whose wellness tips and tricks we’d eagerly adhere to, it’s Jennifer Aniston. But as genetically blessed and hardworking as she is, even she can’t deny the wonders of a well-equipped beauty shelf.<\/p>\n

Luckily for us, the actress does not gatekeep. From sharing her favourite salad recipes<\/a> to her workout routines<\/a>, Aniston is all about letting us in on the keys to her gravity-defying looks. And now, she’s even given us the scoop on the beauty essentials that keep her skin glowy at 54.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Byrdie, the Murder Mystery<\/em> star revealed that her favourite skincare<\/a> step is a good retinol<\/a>\u2014one by her go-to facialist, Shani Darden, to be specific. Though she admits she tends to “move around a lot” with skincare, she’s loyal to a few effective products.<\/p>\n

\u201cShani Darden is a facialist here, and I love her,\u201d she said of the celebrity aesthetician<\/a>, who counts Jessica Alba, Shay Mitchell<\/a> and January Jones as part of her Hollywood clientele.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer retinol is so good, and her serums are fantastic… She has a great lab that she works with, and the packaging is beautiful,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

According to Darden’s website<\/a>, the serum contains a more gentle slow-release retinol that helps reduce visible signs of aging, exfoliates with the use of lactic acid<\/a>, and provides antioxidant defence against visible sun damage<\/a> and pollution.<\/p>\n

\u201cI created this serum as an alternative to harsh, traditional retinoids. Retinol is the most effective anti-aging ingredient, and this serum delivers\u2014without irritation,\u201d she writes on her site.<\/p>\n

In addition to retinol, Aniston<\/a> credited her trusted Aveeno face wash that she uses daily\u2014she was once an ambassador<\/a> for the brand\u2014as well as toners by French favourite Biologique Recherche\u2014also loved by the Olsens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another makeup bag favourite of hers was revealed as Tatcha’s The Serum stick<\/a>, which she uses to hydrate and prep her skin for makeup.<\/p>\n
