She\u2019ll never walk down Cornelia Street again. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

New reports have emerged that Taylor Swift and The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy, have ended their month-long whirlwind romance, much to the delight of Swifties worldwide. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to an anonymous source close to Swift<\/a>, the pop songstress is currently single again. The source didn\u2019t explain why Swift and Healy ended their relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Given that the 12-time Grammy Award winner is three months into her globe-trotting Era\u2019s tour<\/a> and Healy\u2019s alternative-pop band is also on the road, perhaps the long distance made the brief <\/span>liaison a difficult affair. <\/span><\/p>\n

Rumours of Healy and Swift\u2019s surprise relationship began back on May 3, with British tabloid publications reporting that Swift had moved on with the British singer after her split with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn. <\/a><\/span>Alwyn and Swift had broken up in early April, with the following month providing many sightings of Swift<\/a> and Healy together. <\/span><\/p>\n

On May 5, a mere two days after Swift and Healy\u2019s romance became public, the Manchaster-born musician was spotted at Swift\u2019s Nashville concert.<\/a> He consecutively attended three of her Nashville shows, standing alongside Swift\u2019s \u201cgirl group\u201d including Phoebe Bridgers (a mutual friend of theirs), Gigi Hadid and Blake Lively.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following this, the first pictures of Swift and Healy together as a couple<\/a> emerged, with the musicians pictured hand-in-hand at the luxe rooftop restaurant at Casa Cipriani in New York. Swift\u2019s musical collaborator Jack Antonoff, who also produced The 1975\u2019s most recent record <\/span>Being Funny In A Foreign Language<\/span><\/i>, was also spotted with the pair. <\/span><\/p>\n

The pair were last spotted together in late May, once on 16 May after leaving Jimi Hendrix\u2019s Electric Lady Studios and another time on May 18 after they were reported to be partying with Zoe Kravitz and Margaret Qualley at members-only club Zero Bond. <\/span><\/p>\n

One source shared with an American entertainment publication that scheduling conflicts contributed to the demise of their relationship. \u201cThey are both extremely busy and realised they\u2019re not really compatible with each other,\u201d the source explained<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, discourse around Swift and Healy\u2019s relationship reached fever pitch earlier in the year after Swift re-released her <\/span>Midnights<\/span><\/i> album single \u201cKarma\u201d, featuring rapper Ice Spice<\/a>. Healy was deemed a racist after laughing at a pointed joke directed towards 23-year-old Ice Spice on a podcast. <\/span><\/p>\n

Healy took to the stage in April during a New Zealand concert to apologise for his remarks, yet this didn\u2019t appease Swifties who were still mad that 33-year-old Swift would continue to date someone who exhibited this type of behaviour. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not clear whether the marred discourse was the main reason for their break up, however, it\u2019s clear the comments put a strain on their short-lived romance. <\/span><\/p>\n

Neither Swift nor Healy have commented on the reports, but given their close circle of mutual friends we have every reason to believe the pair could be in close quarters again soon, especially with Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley\u2019s upcoming wedding. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
