Nine months after their break up<\/a>, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were reunited on Monday night at the 2023 Met Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Photos showed the former couple, who attended the 2022 Met Gala together, and who originally met at the 2021 event, standing together inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art having a conversation with Usher.<\/p>\n

In the images, Davidson is seen smiling at his former girlfriend, as well as pulling a teasing face at her as she tells the two men a story. (Tag yourself \u2014 I’m the girl sitting behind looking at the action, knowing what an iconic moment is playing out in front of her.)<\/p>\n

One year ago, when Kardashian and Davidson attended the Met Gala together, Kardashian infamously wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic beige dress with shimmering crystals by Jean Louis, which the actress wore to sing ‘Happy Birthday Mr President’ in 1962.<\/p>\n

For this year’s event, Kardashian told host Derek Blasberg that she tried to avoid feeling the pressure to upstage herself on the carpet, instead choosing to have fun with her look, bringing her eldest daughter, North West<\/a>, as her plus-one in lieu of a date and taking a shot in the car with her sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, before arriving at the venue.<\/p>\n

Paying homage to Karl Lagerfeld through her dress’ colourway and pearl embellishments (which also, likely not to her pleasure, reminded the internet of her 2007 Playboy<\/em> shoot), Kardashian wore a white midi dress by Schiaparelli made entirely of strands of pearls, paired with a long cream coat worn off the shoulders that morphed into a long train behind her.<\/p>\n

Underneath, her dress Kardashian wore a silky corset bodice and bra in a golden hue, adding a huge diamond-and-pearl choker, diamond stud earrings, white sandals encrusted with pearls, and a matching pearl anklet.<\/p>\n

For his part, Davidson, ever the low-key dresser, wore a tie-dye blue shirt, black blazer and pants with a long pearl necklace.<\/p>\n

Since their split, Kardashian hasn’t been romantically linked to anyone, while Davidson rebounded with Emily Ratajkowski<\/a> and has now been dating his Bodies, Bodies, Bodies<\/em> co-star Chase Sui
