Gigi Hadid opted to spend her 28th birthday weekend celebrating in the most wholesome ways: at Disney World.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The model and Guest in Residence founder<\/a>, who turned 28 on Sunday April 23rd, kicked off her birthday weekend by having a celebratory dinner in New York City with her famous friends Taylor Swift, Blake Lively and the Haim sisters. <\/span><\/p>\n

It pays to note that following the outing, everyone in the group unfollowed Swift\u2019s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn<\/a> on Instagram (bar Swift, who didn\u2019t follow him, and doesn\u2019t follow anyone at all, on the platform), hinting that the split, if it was amicable at first, has turned sour, especially given Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds also unfollowed Alwyn despite the pair being friends (Reynolds even wrote a tribute to the British actor for his TIME 100 profile last year).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But back to the birthday girl! Following the evening, Hadid flew to Florida for a weekend trip to Disney World with friends. The supermodel <\/span>shared a video<\/span><\/a> on Instagram yesterday from the day, featuring clips of her “dream bday weekend” set to the Little Mermaid song “Part of Your World” and showcasing her Disney-themed wardrobe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The video opens with Hadid lying on a hotel bed pretending to wake up, covered in colourful Disney T-shirt, wearing a blue tee with a design of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, paired with long yellow shorts and blue-and-beige sandals over white socks. She has her hair slicked back into a bun and wears bright red lipstick.<\/span><\/p>\n
