Kim Kardashian may have conquered the worlds of beauty, fashion and even the criminal justice system<\/a>, but the mogul has taken on a new challenge as an actress for season 12 of American Horror Story<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Though the billionaire has had a handful of appearances in shows like How I Met Your Mother<\/em>,\u00a02 Broke Girls<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Paw Patrol<\/em>, this is her biggest scripted role yet. Kardashian stars alongside AHS alum Emma Roberts<\/a> and Cara Delevingne<\/a> in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

Announcing the exciting news, Kardashian<\/a> took to Instagram<\/a> to share a teaser clip for the FX show. Featuring eerie music and graphics, the short clip read: “This Summer, Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate.” She captioned the post with emojis of eyes and blood.<\/p>\n

Unlike previous seasons, which have all been original stories based on various themes and characters, this season, entitled American Horror Story: Delicate,<\/em> is partly based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The novel, which will only be released in August, is described as a “gripping thriller about a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens.” It’s also been described as “the feminist update to Rosemary’s Baby<\/em> we all needed,” per a review by author Andrea Bartz.<\/p>\n

And now, in the new teaser trailer for season twelve, we get an eerie peak at Kardashian’s character.<\/p>\n
