Austin Butler may not have won the Oscar for Best Actor at the 2023 Academy Awards, where he was nominated \u2014 and widely considered a frontrunner \u2014 for his role as Elvis Presley in Elvis, <\/em>but the actor couldn’t have looked happier at the after-party. This was likely due in large part to the stunning plus one on his arm: Kaia Gerber.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the night, Butler attended the awards ceremony sans his 21-year-old model girlfriend, opting to walk the red carpet solo, instead. Of Gerber’s absence, Butler later explained that he brought his agent James Farrell as his date for the night, saying, \u201cI’ve got my best friend here with me, who is also my agent. And I owe my career to him, so as a thank you, I wanted him to be by my side tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn’t surprising given Gerber hasn’t attended any of the awards shows beside her boyfriend this season, usually joining him later for the after parties, as she did again last night.<\/p>\n

Reunited with Gerber at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party<\/a>, Butler couldn’t have looked happier as the pair posed for photos together. Ahead of attending the party, the actor changed into his second Saint Laurent look of the night in a black jacket and silk shirt, while Gerber wore a sparkling silver Celine dress and matching strappy sandals.<\/p>\n

Though the pair haven’t been shy about being photographed together \u2014 and even made their Met Gala debut last year \u2014 they have stayed quiet about their relationship of one year<\/a> in interviews thus far.<\/p>\n

When Butler was asked about his relationship with Gerber in a May\u00a0GQ <\/em>profile, he made it clear he has no intention of talking about it. \u201cI don’t think there’s anything I want to share about that. But thank you for providing the space,\u201d he said, casually shutting down the conversation.<\/p>\n
