It takes a lot to stand out amongst the glittering guests at an event as star-studded as the 2023 Oscars<\/a>, but trust Nicole Kidman to create a viral moment with her appearance.<\/p>\n

From her internet-breaking Vanity Fair<\/em> cover<\/a> in that<\/em> Miu Miu mini skirt<\/a> to her epic red-haired locks fronting Perfect Magazine<\/em><\/a>, it’s clear the actress knows exactly how to generate buzz\u2014and isn’t afraid of generating a little controversy.<\/p>\n

In one of the night’s best looks, the Big Little Lies<\/em> <\/a>star went for sleek and chic<\/em> in custom Armani Priv\u00e9<\/a>. A black sequined floor-length gown with one sleeve and silver floral broqu\u00e9s on the shoulder and hip would have been enough to make this dress a winner. But, of course, that wasn’t enough for the actress.<\/p>\n

In what could be a play for ‘best leg moment’, Kidman<\/a> took advantage of the dress’ playful split, making sure to show off plenty of thigh in a move that could rival Angelina Jolie’s historic red carpet look at the 2012 Oscars.<\/p>\n

Letting the dress do most of the talking, the accessories were elegant and refined, with pointed stilettos elongating the leg. Her hair was out and ever-so-slightly tousled while rosy cheeks were in perfect harmony with the grey smoky eye<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kidman’s last red carpet ensemble is just one of many sartorial triumphs. Though she’s always been a highlight of any A-list event, the actress has really hit her style stride in the last year. From when she won Best Actress<\/a> in 2002 for The Hours\u00a0<\/em>in a delicate sheer pink slip to now, the actress seems keen to up the ante in risk-taking ensembles.<\/p>\n
