After teaching us all how to write the perfect love letter<\/a> \u2013 if you haven\u2019t signed up to Pamela Anderson<\/a>\u2019s new e-newsletter, you must<\/a>! \u2013 the 55-year-old actress and activist had us ooh-ing and ahh-ing all over again this afternoon when she attended Versace\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2023 show in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n

In a shiny, black fringed coat and mini combo, and with her hair pinned in her iconic 90s messy updo<\/a>, the Pamela, A Love Story<\/em><\/a>\u00a0star was all smiles as she posed atop the cream carpet at the Pacific Design Centre.<\/p>\n

Not too far away was Lily James<\/a>, the 33-year-old British actress who took on the red swimsuit in Australian director Craig Gillespie\u2019s dark comedy Pam & Tommy<\/em>. The show was a controversial chronicle of the marriage between Anderson and her Jack-guzzling Rockstar husband Tommy Lee, one which focused in on the infamous sex scandal of 1995.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember seeing an advertisement for Pam & Tommy<\/em> thing Hulu and I thought, \u2018What the hell is this?\u2019\u201d Anderson told the Howard Stern Show<\/em><\/a> in January 2023. \u201cNo one called me, nobody asked me. I\u2019m still alive!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt kind of run-over by that one,\u201d she continued. \u201cI don\u2019t think they portrayed Tommy or I positively. I\u2019ve heard it was a very shallow representation of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to the documentary releasing on Netflix on January 31, Anderson gave an interview to the\u00a0The Guardian<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>While she strongly criticised the film, she admits she can\u2019t fault James who portrayed her convincingly in the Hulu series.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not her fault, it\u2019s a job,\u201d Anderson said. \u201cBut whoever created it \u2013 well, it just feels like something else stolen.\u201d<\/p>\n
