The 7.8 multitude earthquake that hit parts of Turkey and Syria<\/a> last Monday left most of the cities under rubble with the death toll rising to 35,000 people. With rescue missions still underway, the world is collectively contributing to the efforts in aiding relief to those affected.
\nDubai\u2019s RIKAS Hospitality Group, the group behind some of the city’s most iconic award-winning restaurants, is organising a fundraiser evening with the biggest names in Dubai\u2019s culinary scene to support Syria and Turkey\u2019s earthquake victims. The All Together for Syria & Turkey event is in collaboration with Emirates Red Crescent and will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2022, at 8 pm in Emirates Towers, with dinners across three RIKAS Group restaurants.<\/p>\n

The special multi-course dinners will be held at the French eatery and bar La Cantine Du Faubourg, the Japanese eatery Gohan, and the Middle Eastern rooftop restaurant Ninive for AED 750 per person. Initiated by Nazli Sonmez, each restaurant will offer a different dining experience with Ossiano\u2019s chef Gregoire Berger, Marea\u2019s chef Yunus Emre Aydin, chef Sara Aqel founder of Dara in Amman and Rikas Group\u2019s Gilles Bosquet creating the La Cantine menu. <\/span><\/p>\n

While the in-house chef Ahmed Ali, Mohamad Orfali, and Salam Dakkak of Orfali Bros Bistro are hosting the neighbouring Middle Eastern rooftop restaurant<\/a> Ninive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deliveroo and Talabat are also contributing to the fundraising efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent. Customers who place orders through the platforms will easily be able to make a donation to ERC. All proceeds from these events will go toward helping those affected by the earthquake in both Turkey and Syria.<\/span><\/p>\n
