Nothing says viral more than a limited-edition beauty collection, and the latest from Dior, the Mitzah Makeup Collection<\/a> for Spring 2023, has \u2018sold out\u2019 written all over it.<\/p>\n

Dreamed up by Christian Dior Makeup\u2019s Creative and Image Director, Peter Phillips<\/a>, the collection is a tribute to the House\u2019s original muse, Mitzah Bricard. Bricard was iconic: a sort of fabulous renegade who entered Dior\u2019s world<\/a> as a pattern maker \u00ad \u2013 albeit one who was known for wearing stilettos, pearls and a turban to work. It was long before she graduated to the ranks of \u201cmuse\u201d alongside her official role as head of millinery. In his autobiography, he said of her, \u201cMadame Bricard is one of those people, increasingly rare, who make elegance their sole raison d\u2019\u00eatre\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dior not only sought her opinions, but she was also a collaborator, and he even incorporated some of her signature style elements, most notably her penchant for leopard print<\/a> into his designs. This use of feline print has now become emblematic of the House, featuring in collections from John Galliano<\/a> to Raf Simons<\/a> and Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/a> in their time at the helm.<\/p>\n

It will come as no surprise, then, that the Mitzah makeup collection is embellished with the print on all the key pieces as well as the stunning campaign imagery with Anya Joy-Taylor. Here\u2019s what we\u2019ll be buying from the collection before it sells out.<\/p>\n

In the Mitzah limited edition, each shade of Rouge Dior lipstick features an engraving and matte, metallic, satiny or velvet couture finish.<\/p>\n
