At a recent show in Las Vegas, powerhouse Adele<\/a> was moved to tears when she spotted an audience member holding up a photo of his wife on his phone as the singer sang her song \u201cWhen We Were Young\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look like a movie\/You sound like a song<\/em>,\u201d she sang as the man \u2013 who appeared to be by himself and with tears in his eyes \u2013 held his phone up, and then held his heart.<\/p>\n

Adele believed the man was widowed and later dedicated her mega-track \u201cHello\u201d to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is for you, Sir, who is showing me his wife on his phone,\u201d she said mid-song.<\/p>\n

Later, the singer stopped to address the audience, holding back a flood of tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I walk through the crowd, I wish you could see what I could see,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see little stories of people happening and there\u2019s a man \u2013 can you see him holding his phone up? I think that\u2019s his wife on his phone and I don\u2019t think she\u2019s here. And it just really moved me and I think you\u2019re here on your own. I\u2019m so sorry for your loss\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see little pockets of people\u2019s lives as I walk through and it\u2019s so beautiful,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
