Prince Harry<\/a> has reportedly returned to London for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip<\/a>. According to The Sun<\/a>, <\/em>The Duke of Sussex was seen departing a flight and was met with security and police on the tarmac. Local restrictions stipulate that Prince Harry will need to quarantine for at least five days and return a negative COVID-19 test before leaving isolation.<\/p>\n

Meghan Markle was notably absent from Prince Harry’s side. The Duchess of Sussex was reportedly advised against travelling pregnant, particularly with the current health risk in the United States and United Kingdom. Markle announced she was pregnant with her second child, a girl, during an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey<\/a> in March.<\/p>\n

It is the first time Prince Harry has seen the Royal Family since the tell-all interview and according to insiders of\u00a0The Sun,\u00a0<\/em>a truce has been called for the funeral.<\/p>\n

\u201cFamily conversations now will be on the passing of Prince Philip \u2014 and nothing else,” a source revealed to the publication. \u201cConversations will be private but the focus will be on emotional \u00admatters of dealing with a father and grandfather.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prince Philip passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle on April 9. Queen Elizabeth II has declared a two-week royal mourning period.<\/p>\n

Sophie, the Countess of Wessex has described the final moments<\/a> before Prince Philip’s death, revealing it was “gentle” and “peaceful”.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was right for him,\u201d she told reporters. \u201cIt was so gentle. It was just like somebody took him by the hand and off he went. Very, very peaceful. And that\u2019s all you want for somebody isn\u2019t it?\u201d<\/p>\n

The funeral will take place at St George\u2019s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, April 17, 3pm local time (6pm GST). It is set to be televised with just 30 guests allowed to attend the service. The question remains which 30 members of the Royal Family will attend in-person.<\/p>\n
